The picture of the door and the front fender shows "hologram" type scratches on it which are caused by incorrect use of a buffing machine. Dealerships deal with many cars and just don't have the time or attention to detail a properly paid detailer would give. Washing with dirty cloths and not knowing how to properly use a buffing machine isn't their #1 concern, their goal is to get as many cars "cleaned" in the least amount of time. I'm pretty sure the dealer would cover the cost to detail it, just look for the most reputable detailer close by

Please don't take this as a flame, but

Why, and why?

If they did not fix your fuel pump the first two times, why bring it back? There is NO proven fix for the crickets other than removing ethanol from your fuel. All three replacement pumps will make noise.

Just because there is water on your window after washing when you roll your window up, this DOES NOT mean your seals are bad. Don't know where you got this idea. If I were the dealer I would have to hold back the laughter when you bring your car in. New seals will do the same exact thing.

Please give us feedback if and when you get your car back from the next dealership debacle.

I have had my pump changed twice. I said I was on my third fuel pump, not fourth. Do you know the circumstances for which I am on my third fuel pump? No you don't. The first one was replaced due to problems greater than chirping. The pump they are on now, which is maybe the fifth revision since I got my car, is what I have now. My dealer in Florida took it upon themselves to get it for me without asking. That's the only reason why I even considered it. However due to unfortunate circumstances, I don't live in Florida anymore and the pump came the day after I left. I figured it was worth asking my local Georgia dealership (where I got the car from) and they said they had it and could install it right away. So I said sure. Don't judge without knowing the situation...

"Just because there is water on your window after washing when you roll your window up, this DOES NOT mean your seals are bad. Don't know where you got this idea." My seals didn't do that when I got the car. The newer seals I had installed months ago didn't let water in. There is a new TSB they may have better parts so it's worth investigating. I didn't realize that having water in your door is normal. All in all, our seals do do what they are supposed to do, but do not last even quarter as long as other car.

With that said, I completely understand where you are coming from, but I pretty much read it as if you were just calling me an idiot.

my brother in law's lexus was washed a day ago, and he had to bring it in for a recall.

He told the guy that he had to sign papers with NOT TO WASH THE CAR, especially after the guy asked him whether he wants it washed or not.

Many hours and hours and trouble of getting a windshield wiper recall finished (which is another story all together)

The car came back dirtier it went in.

They washed his car.

A few days later the customer satisfaction department called and asked for his review. He gave a many zero's for the dealership experience.

They fixed my car and did a damn good job! It isn't perfect, but I was only expecting a 75% job. They did more like a 95%. I'm happy! They did miss a spot, but no biggie since I plan on going back tomorrow. (see below) I'll ask if they can just give it a quick touch up.

But now I have this really weird rattle. I have confirmed that it will happen around 1800-2000 rpm with any load in first and second. It also occurs below that rpm when a blip to start rolling from a stop.

It did do it to at least 4th gear on the way home, but I wasn't focusing on exactly where so I can't confirm a repeatable incident there.

@ OP.

I don't even have words. If I didn't have at least a little faith in humanity, I'd say that this was malicious damage. I really hope they did a good job with the correction.

This isn't a great picture, but I do have to post how they made up for their mistake. Here's the good from the bad.
