Those NGK plugs are the same I used on my STi when I stepped down to colder ones. But I wouldn't bother changing them unless instructed to.

Can't really tell in the pic but I bolted it to an existing bracket on the engine. I think it held a wiring harness before the charger was added

Where did you get this specific catch can setup from?

Make sense?
I recommend a switch similar to these:

http://www.davis.com/Category/Kobold...Switches/52961

Install the flow switch inline anywhere in the system. The cold side is better than the hot side. Wire a 12vdc led from any normally on fuse (power) through to the paddle switch NC position (ground). This should trigger the led on anytime there isn't flow.

It'd be helpful to know the temperature range and chemical properties of the cooling fluid. Also the normally operating psi and flow rate would be helpful too. Get this info from innovate and call the switch company and ask the tech rep for something that might work. Pretty straight forward.

So I checked my coolant bottle together for my intercooler and its low again, right on the low mark. How many times did you guys have to fill it back up after first fill, if any?

Not sure if I need to check it while cool or not, but that was right when I got to work and shut the car off.

Hey guys.....I am looking to get the Innovate SC perhaps this spring or summer depending on cash flow. My questions to you all who have this SC installed is:

1) Get the SC with or without the intercooler?

2) Are the "Tunes" that you get from Innovate for the Stage 1 and 2 Kits good tunes? I presume they are safe tunes that have been proven not to blow the engine and other parts to bits?

3) How much actual improvement does the Stage 2 Kit give you over Stage 1 with the Innovate tunes given with each setup (non-intercoolled vs. intercooled?)

I am not looking to push my engine to extreme WHP numbers that most likely require changing parts such as injectors, fuel pumps and transmission/differential parts. I am just looking to get the most from the engine with safe limitations.

Any advice and expertise is very welcome.

Thanks.....
Niko

PS - any mods that I will do engine-wise other than this SC would be getting an Invidia N1 or Injen exhaust (and possibly a cat-less front pipe). But that's it.

Get the intercooler. IMO the non-intercooled kit shouldn't even be an option.

If you aren't willing to replace the stock injectors and possibly fuel pump stay away from FI. Fuel is the most important component of going FI and not the place to skimp IMHO.

Stock injectors are fine for over 300whp (I believe @DeliciousTuning is approaching 400 whp on stock injectors for one of his turbo tunes, and they actually run a lot smoother on my car than the DW700's did). The pump however will likely need to be upgraded.

If I had waited I'd get the intercooled kit with CARB tune. I got impatient and figured it would take too long (for me it did).

Yeah the stock pump was never intended to be used in an FI application. Stock injectors usually have a better spray pattern as they were built with your combustion chamber in mind. The new AVO s3 injectors look promising though.
