You shouldn't really worry about sounding like a fart can. As long as you have a good muffler, a good resonator, and at least one cat, it will sound good.

New header clears factory skid pan, has increased runner length and better collector design. I'm excited to get these out there and see some dyno's

I'll have some welded shots up tomo to see weld quality, etc.

Mine will be shipping this week! Can't wait! :-)

I did hear a newer SI that wasnt terrible. I just haven't heard a good one but lots of terrible ones. Kinda of like neons.

Probably has more to do with the people than the car since VWs tend to sound pretty good.
I had an 06 Acura TSX and it sounded mean. All of the ass sounding Honda that you all have been hearing is the result of running a test pipe with no cat converter. Back to topic..

Ther' ain't no time fo' dat. Dem foo' gotta get to dat welding.

Now, to be fair, if a company produces a dyno for their own product it is usually fairly bias. There have been a few 3rd party test on their UEL, and with stock everything except tune and UEL it made 189whp. Here is another at 190whp on a pretty safe tune

We use standard 16G/.065 tube so ID would be 1.63" and 2.37"
