Gymkhana BRZ Revised for 2013

On his Facebook page, driver Tetsuya Yamano leaked the 2013 Gymkhana BRZ with a few small changes. I notice it has painted or vinyl overlaid STI side skirts added and what looks like the same STI wing we've spied being tested on the Nurburgring. If you find any other info/leaks, please post!

Gawd, I still dream of bronze CE28 Volks. Perhaps one day...

Why is it called a Gymkhana? It does look good though.

It's like saying auto-x or rally-x. Gymkhana is a form of motorsports that often involves auto-x like courses with more extreme maneuvers.

I'll put this, this, this and this here.

I know that but what besides adding weight is all the extra bits and pieces are doing. I don't think aerodynamics is much a factor in Sub 60mph races. If it is a track car, or if Japanese Gymkhana involves higher speeds, then that is a different.

You would be surprised how much it does come into play even in US autocross at speeds less than 60. Over the last five years or so guys have started figuring that out. I don't know how functional the parts on that car are though.

On March 9 to 10 days, the All Japan Gymkhana Championship opener was held at the South Course Suzuka Circuit. This time to South Course Suzuka, SUBARU users have played a total of 14 units. PN3 class in a brand new pair (86) is contested BRZ, attention SUBARU BRZ seven entries including Tetsuya Yamano was among them.

I was just joking, lol. :happy0180:

Unless you can find me something even lighter than 13.8 lbs without going with a smaller wheel.

Lol gotcha, I toy with the idea of changing out my wheels now and then. That lightweight is incredible plus they look great on that WRB. :happy0180:

By matched are you referring to square setup and are you seriously getting a set? I'm starting to lean towards these wheels again. If I recall, @ICantAffordAnLFA has some. Looks like CE28N will be the new TC105N but for WRB.

Nope, the skirts/rockers. If I wanted CE28N I'd have bought them, but their price to weight and aesthetic are meh. The spokes are kinda blocky/square and bronze always looks like it has a coat of brake dust over it. I'm happy with my TC105N.
