Breaking axles (inboard CV) is about how you're driving and shifting the car more than anything else. Shock loads will break them.

I'm using the greddy kit in my DD and it has a very smooth power band. Really gives this car the kick it needs.

Seems to still be a concern when they break with low-ish HP figures, no? Maybe they broke because the guy lowered his car a bit and that contributed? I don't really suspect that I'll be wringing the car out too often, in any case. I just want to try to avoid breaking CV joints, at least until I spring for axles that can handle more power.

Because if you ever actually get your kit in, it will be complete garbage.

I haven't really paid too much attention to that kit. I've been looking into Full Blown's kit quite a bit. I'll have to take a look at greddy again. That's a big thing for me though; that the power comes on nice and smooth. Don't wanna lose the character of the car, ya know?

FA20Club is VERY hit or miss, I know in the tristate there are four of us with this kit and out of four I know there was one with issues. As for me I am still enjoying my kit, but full blown, p&l, ptuning and jdl are all very good kits and will be able get you the power you want. Tbh it is about where you want your turbo placement.

That is another big factor in why axles break. My point is don't let axles be the reason that you select a turbo kit or what size turbo to get.
