Perhaps I'm understanding this wrong or perhaps asking the wrong questions(I'm a virgin when it comes to tuning). But my intent is to determine if there are maps that support a mixture of both e85 and 91 octane gas, as to avoid having to drain the gas tank before switching between the 2.

Thanks!

Regular gasoline is E10 (approx). And when you mix equal parts of E85, you get E47 ((85-10)/2). Which is a beyond the range that the E85 maps can handle. So yes, you can mix gasoline and E85 and let the ECU adjust fuel trims. But I wouldn't go below E60. Which means you'll need to run your tank reasonably low before changing fuel types. Not empty but reasonably low.

Can the wallpaper/background be customize? e.g. pain black.

If you are wantin to pump whatever you want whenever you want no it doesn't support this. Shivs map use fuel trims to compensate e85 consistency. But it doesn't do timing adjustments between. You wokld need something like ecutek for full flex fuel. It's actually not horribly difficult to add compensation maps for flex sensors in ecutek either.

We can customize it when the units are being configured for sale. But currently the user has no option of customizing in the field. I could release a template file for those who want a black background. But I haven't received any other requests like that.

The real question is, how do we modify the .SLT files so we can make our own buttons and backgrounds ourselves?

This involves modifying the same template file described in my previous post. This is not user configurable at this time.

Happy to make my first post a strong thumbs-up for OFT, their off-the-shelf tunes and Vishnu performance as a company. As a non-techi enthusiast I really appreciate the incredible user-friendliness of the OFT, matched by the availability of tunes and the continuing development of those tunes. As others have said, even Stage 1 smooths out the stock dip and power band and really perks up the car.

Thanks a bunch and keep up the great work!

Now, must . . . resist . . . the header . . .

His question sounds to be in similar (if not more destructive) vain as mine. You have tempted the programmer in me to see if I can figure out your template I will probably open it up, play with it some and forget about even attempting it though. I like the new skeleton pic on the tablet.
