This is where the inputs go for power, etc. Crutchfield lists it for 280 + s/h but as stated amazon is way cheaper for the same unit. Just an option. If you want me to snap a couple of pics in the trunk of my brz let me know.
How do you like the P300? I'm thinking of getting one for my FR-S, I currently have a Sound Ordnance B-8PTD and it's crap, took it out of my old bimmer... lol

Love it. Its not overpowering but the great thing is in a car this small you feel the bass even with it just being a 10". It's self contained is the second reason, no amp to find a space for or hack up the car to make something extra fit. It is no 2000$ custom fabricated sound system but for 180$ shipped I don't expect it to be. Need to replace the rest of the stock speakers but for now a little extra bump was what it needed.

Side note, I was on the fence about the 12" version and personally I am glad I didn't get it. The size of the 12" in the trunk would have left me with hardly any space if I wanted to throw a bag in the trunk for a weekend and honestly I think it would be too much for the car. I did have a slight vibration of the spoiler on my brz so I tightened it down and solved that, my tag on the back vibrates a little but some dynamat on the back of the tag and a couple of small squares of thin foam should get rid of that as well.

If you want a couple of pics let me know.

When you pull up the sill there is what looks like a cable tray running to the back, right in the middle of all the white "stuff". That may be it's intent, but it could barely hold my single 6 gauge power cable. That's when I realized I needed to pull up the carpet as shown in the OEM Audio Plus video. Several cables will easily fit down there, just pull up the lower weather stripping first to reveal the locking tabs.

I'm obviously out of date as far as modern car installations are concerned.
What are you installing that uses coax cable?

Nope! Got tired of RCAs always breaking so i ran coax for strength. You just screw in RCA adapters on the tips.

So I just swapped out to the Blaupunkt 10", the 12" is too tall to go up right behind the seat. The 10" just barely wedges in and then I just used velcro ties to lock it in place. Sounds even better. I'm just trying to find the right tuning between the gains on the LOC and the gains on the sub. I might even buy a digital multimeter and start learning how to do it properly.

If you want to clean up the fronts at the same time, you might put a crossover before the amp so you can split the signal and take some of the load off the front speakers. I would also make sure to experiment with reverse wiring the sub to see which way makes it blend best with the factory system. This is especially likely to help when you fire the sub towards the back of the car. I did it with mine and it made a big difference. The sub became much less easy to locate as coming from behind me. YMMV, of course.
