Under the hood, I still run the resonator. The only thing that had been removed is the sound generator. No difference with our without it on the dyno.

Hi guys,

I did the snorkel mod yesterday to get ready for the OFT maps, should I be taking more off the snorkel or is this fine?

That looks fine. The only thing I would do while it is still out is enlarge the opening. You can heat it up with a heatgun and shove a bottle in there for a few minute until it cools down. Voila, larger inlet diameter

Thanks Shiv, just need to find a heat gun.

One more thing, has my tablet been sent out yet? I had the details sent to me from DHL a couple days ago, but looks like it hasn't been picked up yet?

Dean.

I apologize if this has been asked before but does running E85 cause a lot of engine chirping? My understanding from reading a few posts on this forum is that the chirping is believed to be caused by the ethanol in fuel. Are there any foreseeable long term side affects of running e85? Thanks for your input.

Caveat: I have not personally run E85.

From my understanding, a lubricant is added to e85 due to the high ethonal content. This lubricant eliminates the chirps present with e10. You can also add lubricant to e10 to solve the chirps.

As for long term, it's only opinion as the cars have only been out a couple years.

Result: For around $1100 bucks you get 200whp and a smiley face, not bad right??!!! I don't know of any other combination of mods you can do to this car and yield you this kind of power gains.

This is pretty awesome. Do you know or do you have a similar option for 93 octane? I am curious what the output is like with 93.

Yes, expect to see around ~195whp on a full bolt on car running 93oct with our Stage 2 map.

I just watched the ride along video - I am just about sold. The car just looks so much more peppy and sounds great! How does it feel? Does it give that little bit more umph that the car is missing from the factory?

I'm actually surprised you haven't broken 200whp considering all the bolt ons you have + E85.

Edit: But all dynos read differently so ignore what I just said haha. If you provided a stock baseline on that same dyno then we could see the difference. Never the less I bet it pulls like a batt outa hell for an NA 4cylinder.
How does it feel?
