i had it happen on my other car for the first time after the ice storm....a tiny ice build up on one wheel made some crazy vibrations...it was so small that i couldn't believe it would create such vibrations

sort of scared me at first....always thinking the worst, how a wheel will fly off, and i'll end up slamming into someone/something

I hate the feeling and sound when braking on dirty snow/slush, feels like i'm destroying my brakes/rotors, that's just the ABS kicking in though right?

If it's 8 degrees then. I might just do that before work. But till then I'll try to figure out another way today or tomorrow. If not I'll just wash it on Saturday. Lol.

Sorry for double posting since i don't know how to multi quote. But I think that is your ABS. Don't quote me on that though. Since I ain't a professional person to really know what that is. I've never heard that on my car.

i'm aware when the abs kicks in as it makes a distinct rattle noise......not sure if that's what you're hearing

That's probably what it is, that weird rattling noise when braking. It also makes the braking a not "smooth" feeling, very clanky, plus kind of still sliding forward too lol, just feels like I'm destroying the car. Good thing it's usually near residential areas, so I'm not travelling fast at all, just braking for stop signs.

Maybe you should get that checked out. Now that I think about I don't think it sounds like the ABS. Maybe bent rotors or something weird like that. As I said, don't quote me on that. lol. Just curious as well what it is and trying to give options or wild guesses. Haha.

Update on the snow/ice jammed on my wheels. It's not a massaging car anymore. I fixed it before I went to work. I went to a coin op and washed it off. Waited a few minutes before driving, then off I go. Didn't vibrate at all. I tested going to 120 km/h to 130 km/h. None. Thanks guys for the advice, opinions and help! =)

Yup, nothing like blasting around in the snow, packing the rims solid, then hitting the highway!
