This is what I did. Jack the car up safely and support the car on a set of stands. Block the rear wheel and start removing the front two wheels. The nice thing about the front lip is it is almost impossible to misalign since it wraps around the bumper itself and secures to the wheel well. First things first, after removing the clips under the front bumper, yes all of them, there will be a plastic splash guard that should move around, carefully take it out of there. You will then see 3 bolts, 11mm socket should do the trick "purely going off memory of 2 months ago so may be a different size" and loosen them and take them out.

After that you will see this black plastic piece that should slide around above that beam where you removed the bolts. I left it I and wedged my hand under it and above the bottom of the bumper to make sure I could reach the area where drilling would happen. It will not be comfortable to wedge your hand in there but if you can stick it out for a little bit, makes it easy.

After that I took the lip and the large pop clips, pushed them in with the lip attached and it held it in place enough to secure it for accurate hole marking. Take a sharpie or some other marker, mark your holes, then drill a hole on one side, going from the middle out, secure with the screws provided in the order of lip, bottom of car, bumper, inside of bumper. So the sequence will be grab bolt, washer, and rubber fitting. Bolt into hole with pre positioned washer, wedge hand under black plastic piece, put larger washer over the bolt on the inside of the bumper, rubber fitting over washer with lip of the rubber fitting on top (not against the washer). Rinse and repeat. Drill holes for the wheel well after and secure. Pictures would make this easier but I was too excited to take any. You can also remove the bumper if you so wish, but that is a different set of instructions
