Like tapping on:

* electric fuel pumps
* automatic choke (butterfly stuck)
* radio
* gauges
* horn relay
* various light bulbs

I'm a professional technician, and while I haven't seen many no-starts since I started working on Subaru, when I was working on Honda/Acura I would regularly tap on starters, relays, idle control valves, etc. Those types of things can still stick, even in cars made in the last 10 years.

Good to know ...... that my "tapping technique" is still useful ....

Check for voltage to the solenoid. You can use a test light, crank the key and make sure you have power. No power means it's an ignition problem. If you do have power than you probably looking at a starter.

Sounds like a solenoid problem to me since it starts with a serperate power.

Aftermarket mods drain battery overnight, double check your wiring or go complain to the shop that did the work. The dealership will blame the mods and send you on your way.

My dealer is pretty mod friendly and I did the mods myself. I know my way around a car just not so much for the electrical side of newer cars. battery is fully charged and brand new. I've had the air ride on since labor day and it gave me no issues all the way till now.
