Not that it really matters, but it looks like the "Upload" section isn't pulling the correct info for FW version:

I think there is a mismatch the first time the oft updates vid OpenFlash manager. The next time you connect to it, it should match up.

No dice, same. Disconnected/Reconnected and Opened/Exited the program 3 times now. Shouldn't matter though, should it?

Mine still says 1.14 there as well.

Ah… turns out that particular section isn't getting updated. So it's basically the firmware version that you had when you first installed the OFT. Doesn't matter of course. But I'll pass that along to the programmers to fix with the next release. Thanks for the heads up

I think you can do this with techstream. It costs thousands of dollars OR you can buy a pirated version off ebay with a cable for $30.

It doesn't look like you upgraded the Template. Still running the old one. You'll need to download the new template file from our website and upload it to the OFT by going to the "Ugrade" section on OpenFlash Manager. This is the only kind of update that isn't automatic. Make sure you are running the newest version of OpenFlash Manager. I put it up on our website for download just last night.

oh ok. You're referring to the left side of those two bar graphs, correct? Just noticed that myself last night. Should be fixed soon

did a log tonight. there is a weird dip in the vvt exhaust at the beginning of the 2nd gear pull. is this normal?

also are we restricted to only 1 log at a time?

That log looks pretty much perfect. And yes, it's normal to see over/undershoot when it comes to VVT position. Remember that it runs a closed loop control logic so there will always be error. Especially in lower gears when it doesn't have as much time to hit (and hold) the target.

And yes, only 1 datalog file at this time. But it can be up to an hour long so there is plenty of data you can get in there.

perfect thanks. one more question.
if i stop the log and start a new one (ie for a trackday) without overwriting will it append to the end of the previous log?

Fairly sure it is replace or nothing, but that's a great idea
