OpenFlash Tablet Firmware 1.19 Now Available: Stores up to 5 ROM on the OFT

Hi guys,
I wanted to get this (and another) update in before the weekend. The other one may still be a day or two away. But this one is ready to go. With new firmware version 1.19 you can upload/download up to 5 full ROM files to/from your OFT. Same simple process as before. But now map slots 3, 4 and 5 are functional.

In addition to this new (and obviously free) firmware update, you will also need:

1) To download and install a new version of OpenFlash Manager v1.04 (the previous version of v1.04 was beta and will not work after this morning's automatic OFT firmware update). The new version can be downloaded from our website.

2) To update the OFT template file (also to be downloaded from link above). After you update to this template file, you will see the new graphics interface. If you don't upgrade to this Template, you will likely be missing text (data-log channel names and various messages). So definitely do this. The instructions are on the website at the download link :)

As always, when installing new OpenFlash Manager software, all you have to do is run the installer. It will override the older version of OpenFlash Manager. There is no need to remove the old version from your HD.

If you try to the previous release version of OpenFlash Manager v1.04, it will give you an error message when you try to upload any ROM files into the OFT.

Excellent work guys! Will be adding the stage2/93oct tune to my tablet in preparation for the upcoming header install :D

Side question. Will we ever be able to remove a TPMS light with the OFT? My tire light comes on at random... at first I thought it was temperature related, but now not so much. It comes on pretty much at random. I've verified the pressure is accurate for each tire - even the spare.

I plan on purchasing new wheels early next year and would like to avoid adding $50x4 to my purchase to monitor my tire pressure. Would prefer to disable the light via software - vs relying on parking near the old tires, or modding the dash/gauge cluster with tape... :(

the tpms system doesn't have anything to do with the ecu. it's an entirely different piece of hardware that this device doesn't interface with.

i know it sucks. i'm in the same boat now having to swap sensors into new wheels. gotta love ill-conceived gov't mandates.

Lol yes :). I'll be posting up a new template file tonight that, when uploaded, will update all the OFT graphics and restore the text. It will take 15 seconds to do :)

@shiv@vishnu could you reply to my pm please. I'm either buying a tune from you or a short shifter so if you have time to answer my question tonight I would very much appreciate it. Thank You

Sweet, orange car pic gone, and I now have a down button. Thanks!

IAM didn't work for me, I guess the functionality hasn't made it to the non-us cars?

Well don't I feel dumb - :sigh:

I was under the impression the ECU handled all manner of electronic controls. I looked at a few different ODBII devices that can handle the TPMS and other car systems such as lights, door, trunk, alarms etc... but they cost more than I want to spend at this time. :)

I went to upload files and kept running into the Error 0x87 then found this thread lol. That explains it, looking forward to testing the Beta 1.42 today.

Thanks for the added features, always nice to have even more space... now I need to get back to work on the Supercharger Install.

Thanks for the update!

Not that it really matters, but it looks like the "Upload" section isn't pulling the correct info for FW version:
