Also, was it blown before or after the fog light situation? does your fog lights still turn on with the fuse blown like that?

I sadly never checked before, so I don't know how it looked originally. But no, they won't turn on. I'm curious as to how I could've blown it though. The last time they worked was right before I hit a bump. I don't think a bump can blow a fuse?

Yeah, it's your fuse. Change that out and you should be good! i would use a 30a fuse.. hold on, let me check my car for ya! anyways, i don't know how you managed to blow a fuse! could be bad ground and a wire got short.

I'm running 10k spring rates with super stiff dampening, so maybe the bumps sent something loose and it blew it. Hahaha

it's better blowing a fuse than blowing out your bulbs

Blue is 15 amp, and that's not "blown" that's melted down.. That's from heat causing it to melt, so it's either a fuse that didn't pop like it should, or it's to close to a heat source and melted.. And I'm surprised, I've never seen one melt.. Usually just a small brown mark inside the fuse at most lol

Thank you guys, you've all been a great help to me! I'm gonna head out tomorrow and pick up some new fuses.

Just confused why it melted! It's not near anything hot, but I have been driving pretty spirited lately, so maybe that's why, but who knows.

Thanks once again everyone, and I'll keep you updated.

The way you drive has nothing to do with it.. I'd check over AEVERY wire and make sure there isn't a short anywhere.. Usually the wire would melt if there is a short and the fuse fails.. But a fuse shouldn't melt

How exactly would I go about finding a short in the wire? Like I said, brand new to electrical

Just trace/ follow all the wires until you've covered everything.. You'll look for a wire that's cut/frayed/burnt anything like that.. If you replace that fuse and it pops again.. Some where you have a short, or drawing more then the 15 amps to pop that fuse.. Don't go to a higher rating.. Find the problem

is this what I need? I don't really feel like spending $20 for one fuse.

Same thing happened to me it didn't blow the fuse it turned to a blob like in the picture. Just replace the fuse (15a) and make sure the fuse housing isn't badly damaged, you'll be good to go after that.

Not really, you can just go to PeP boys or any auto store and find individual packs or smaller variety packs. Get Buss fuses or something of value.

I have a feeling the issue here is either the quality of the original fuses or a bad solder job on one of the terminals connected to the fuse holder causing the assembly to get hott
