Ok, ordering gaskets right now. Its just weird how I've had the headers on for around two months and I'm only getting issues now. Which is why I thought it could be something else. Gasoline would cause me to log negative LTFT numbers correct?

That's typical of reusing gaskets. They are intended to crush and keep exerting pressure between the cylinder head and the header flange. It's this pressure that keeps things leak-free long term. When you re-use them, they no longer do this and will start to let exhaust sneak through. And the longer exhaust sneaks through, the more the gasket will erode and the more it will leak. This happens over time and not immediately upon re-using them.

I did reuse the OEM ones when I put my borla UEL headers on, I've been wondering if I had an exhaust leak or not but my suspicions might be right now. Especially since It's pretty much impossible to get a torque wrench on one of the bolts on a Borla UEL header. Going to swap back to 93 until I get this sorted out. Oddly I haven't gotten a CEL from the codes you turned back on, maybe I just haven't driven it enough to throw those codes.

Thanks Shiv
I had terrible problems when I had an exhaust leak, including rough starts (And I'm in Phoenix, AZ). Not sure exactly why the leak had anything to due with my rough starts, but as soon as I fixed it the problem was gone.

When tightening down the nuts on your header, make sure to only get them finger tight and start with the side with the single nut (do this on both sides of the header and keep it as even as possible).

After that tighten them just a bit more, with a socket and in a circle pattern. Again, starting with the single bolt side (both sides of header, even as possible).

On the final torque down, do the same thing, but reverse the circle pattern that you tightened with before.

That's what I did, no more leak and my car is VERY happy. Tightening the single bolt side first helps a lot, because that side doesn't have as much force to tighten with if you do it last and can definitely result in a leak. Kudos goes to JDL Auto Design for sharing that little gem of info.

Also, if you're not sure if your exhaust is leaking, open your vent at a stop light (Recirculation light off). If you smell ANY corn juice when you start moving or beforehand, you have a leak... Mine was bad.

Hope this helps.

I definitely smell exhaust but I just assumed it was because I took out one cat. The only issue I had with installing the header was that you pretty much can not get a socket on the nut on one side to use a torque wrench. I guesstimated but I definitely did the insides last. I just bought a 3/8" drive torque wrench today for my coilover install since the 1/2" one I have doesn't go down far enough. Hopefully swivel sockets will fit. Thanks for the info.

700K rom is already support by RomRaider. You can download both RomRaider and the folder of XML files from our website here: http://openflashtablet.com/downloads/index.html

I haven't seen that ROM yet. But I have seen (and currently support) the one right before it (ZA1JB00C). If it's anything like the ZA1JA___ ROMs, it will just be a small calibration change and nothing that requires any significant updates on the tuning side of things. Heck, I might even ask the dealership to update my car come to think about it
