OpenFlash Tablet v1.42b maps now available
 

Hi guys,
Had to few hours free this morning to add more non-USDM ROM support and to tweak the E85 maps. So this update only applies to a few customers overseas and all those running the E85 maps.

v1.42 Changes:
-Added tuned file and developmental XDF (TunerPro) support for ZA1JA01I and ZA1JA010 ROMs (EH 6AT and EU 6AT).
-Removed Beta status for all Stage 2 UEL E85 ROMs.
-Revised Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width tables for all E85 ROMs to improved cold weather cold start performance (thanks @mad_sb for suggestion)

Just saw. Thanks man! I will be doing some third gear pulls tomorrow morning and then I'll flash the new tune.

Intresting, I had a suspicion that zeroing out the IPW compensation tables and only adjusting the IPW tables might not be the best way to go. I'll flash this right now and give it a try in the morning.

If the IPW adjustments you made Shiv were not sufficient how much would you suggest increasing them by?

I confirm as well that the New ZA1JA010 Rom is working fine I tried both stage 1 and 2 , i will be posting some Data logging later on

one more thing , i can see you have a S/C on your car , as Shiv mentioned before the maps are not dedicated to any type on FI , I tried them out and it did work fine with My S/C , so if you are going to do the same , this will be on your own risk
it might worked for because i didn't have any tune for my ECU and the HKS S/C comes with piggyback F-con computer , but in my case its easy just disconnect the F con and run with the OFT tune.
this might be different for you if your using a different S/C

Don't know what you are on about, I do not have an SC on my 86, it's bone stock.
Also, not sure what you meant by working when you haven't logged it yet.

Unfortunately no noticeable improvements on cranking with these maps verses the tweaks I had applied. If anything it got slightly worse as it took 7 attempts to crank this morning. I'll log the crank tomorrow morning and post up logs. Maybe it could be just a matter of further tweaking the ipw tables for just me.

Sorry my bad , and if you have a stock 86 you can upload the map to you car and try it your self , in my case I was talking about a specific rom that Shiv added yesterday , which i'm sure no one on the forum tested it before

All good man, checking out a rom with the xdf released yesterday, mine didn't seem to work for those 2 parameters for logging hence my original question.

I may as well ask the questions here for the ZA1JA01I XDF, apologies if this is noobish but I don't now why the following is the way it is. @shiv@vishnu, hope you can shed some light for the beginners.

1. Throttle delta Fuel comp A and B has weird numbers as Y axis.
2. All of the GDI firing angle maps only has one 1 row with 7200 in Y axis, everything else is -0.
3.Close loop AFR A and B has weird numbers as Y axis.
4. Ignition base - has weird numbers as Y axis, it also ends at 7400. Doesn't this need to go to 7600 due to the increase rev limit?
5. Ignition Comp cylinder 1 and 2 - more giberish on Y axis.
6. Fuel Map - ends at 7400 but rev limit at 7600?

8.Idle Targets - more giberish on Y axis although I know this is working as my car idles at around 750 now.
9. ?? DTC table not scaled?? - completely no idea, giberish everywhere.

Don't know if I'll get any clarification but I can't be the only one not getting the above 9 items.
