OP could stagger the tires. Put 235s up front and 245s in the rear.

The issue isn't that there are "no issues". The issue is that OP can't even run a stretched tire, and running a "normal sized" tire on this wheel setup will just look.... odd.

I know, I had this for a few days then got embarrassed enough to throw on the coilovers.

its not that i care if it looks odd i just heard that jts a problem for fitment, so does it fit or does it not?

Listen to your mom. Stretched tires are retarded, and the car basically came rolled from the factory. Why don't you just spend $200-$300 on lowering springs..

We will be running 9.5" wheels with unmodified fenders on our second BRZ for track duty...

I'm not as young as you are, but I still consider myself younger in comparison to a lot of owners of this car. You need to do a lot of research to figure out what will work with what, and know if you have the money to spend. If you aren't going to do it right, I wouldn't do it at all. You can stretch the tires, but I just wouldn't do that myself. You could get springs. I have RCE yellows that I love and drop it just enough. When I was young, I did a lot of impulse buys. I still do on this car, but I make sure I do enough research before I purchase.

Learn what is good/bad for you and your car, then purchase accordingly. I'm not telling you anything you are doing is wrong, but your mom shouldn't know more about YOUR car than you.

She doesnt, she just thinks stretched tires are a horrible idea (kinda agree by this point) but other then that she doesnt know a single thing about my car... Then again she was in the car business for around 10 years

Rear should be fine as it will poke a bit. I have 17x9.75 +25 rear and it pokes a little. You will have problems in the front. That shit will poke out like there's no tomorrow. I have 17x8.25 +25 front and they poke out. I can't imagine 9.5 wide lol!

With your set, you will have MANY shops turning you away because they do not want to be liable for any problems you may have in the future. New tires will run you $700-1000 for all four. I used stock tires for the fronts and had to buy two new tires to run wider wheels. Cost? $550 for two GL!

18x9.5" square setup here also.. these wheels/tires combo is lighter than the stockers, and the added grip is great.
