A tuned FRS should have a slight advantage on a stock gti

The 29th estimate is only an estimate and Gerber told me "please don't hold us to that date." Grrrrr.... I'm already having BRZ withdrawl, exhibited by the urge to buy parts for when I get my BRZ back...

I need my car fixed!!

You guys have had me looking at kit cars for awhile. Think I might have picked one but I have more research to do.
The Factory Five Type 65 Coupe.
LSx with an Independent Rear Setup.
Should accomplish everything I wanted and be completely unique.

Elite Automotive in Phoenix. Tell Chris (the owner) Marin recommended him.
When you say custom what specifically are you asking for?

Anyone available today or tomorrow to help me remove my stock BRZ Spoiler, and install @FR-Shadow's Five Axis? Removal doesn't seem to be too much of a pain, judging by this thread. I'm a little worried about the holes in the trunk from the BRZ spoiler though... might have to end up swapping trunks with someone... maybe someone who wants a BRZ spoiler?

Has this forum ever considered organizing an install day at:

http://www.ufixitautomotive.com/
or
http://www.diyperformanceautomotive.com/

I've not been to either one, but it looks like ufixit may be a good place to have something like the 86Bash. Says they have a couple acre lot that you can rent out and provide access to the lift bays. People could buy parts from vendors and then get help installing them. Just an idea for the future, pretty sure it'd have to be sponsored or there would have to be an entrance fee to cover the costs.

Doing it at Jeff's House or Mine or Other Members where there are plenty of tools, food, drinks and knowledgeable guys just seems like an easier, less expensive idea. I even have a Kwik Lift but we have been working on remaking the lowered car ramps maybe they will be done this weekend.

Its a neat idea but you have to be finished by a certain time and if something goes wrong and you need to get a part it can really become a bad situation. But still a neat idea maybe something will work out.

I'd be willing to host an install day at the shop once it's open.
In fact, I've talked to Jeff about such an idea.

As @Cross has stated this is a great idea but can get expensive fast. I actually used to use a place like this back in WI when I only had a 1 car garage with no room to work and the freezing winters to deal with. The lifts came in handy quite nicely.

Thanks for the links though it nice to know there are places like that around here too for future reference.
