You shouldn't be modifying your car if you are worried about a warranty.
Go buy a used Miata as a 2nd car, you'll thank me later.

While it's true you shouldn't mod your car if you want to use a warranty.... I could see being able to take off parts for dealer work since they seem blame everything from the defroster to transmission whine on an intake because they know it's expensive to fight it.
My dealer is pretty cool and I know the parts and service managers. So if I fuck up something then it's me but they won't try and blame stereo problems on my aftermarket wheels. And yes I know the warranty stuff is aimed at the OP, but I thought I'd throw in my experience.
