every mod im doing can be reversed back to stock w/ no evidence of modding in a few hours for dealer visits. if my motor goes boom from 2much boost they will know it was FI. and then i have no warrenty... the only fi application i will consider is the phantom esc kit. it can be changed back to stock in about 30min and provides a nice 4-6 pounds of boost. 1600 bucks for 6lbs boost... nice........ and dealer wont be able to prove it was boosted if it blows

Just for the record, Posting up everything you've done to your car on a public forum isn't a good idea if you are wanting to keep your warranty. The dealership will find your posts and use it against you to attempt to deny your warranty. My suggestion is if you are worried about your warranty and are going to try and pull some shady stuff to screw the dealership, don't post about your mods in a public forum.

Why should a dealer cover you if you blow up your car? All this trying to fool a dealer into paying for damage from mods rings of fraudulence ya know...

well if dealer wasnt grimey i wouldnt be either... they told me i could put intake and exhaust at the dealership but after i paid for the car they were telling me that it would void my warranty. if they didnt miss lead me i wouldnt miss lead them. thats life. honestly, ur kinda right, it is fuked up to boost then use the warranty to get a new motor, but the other bolt ons they will use as an excuse to void your warranty. even if u just have an intake they can void your engine and trans warranty. i bought this car to mod, if they told me i couldnt put any bolt-ons i wouldnt have bought it. to late, i already own the car and the guy at the dealership got his commission check for selling me a car.(that he lied about, telling me it wont void anything putting an aftermarket intake and exhaust)

thanks for your concern but ill be ok. they have to proof its me and thats difficult unless they have a shot of the plate or hard evidence. also i never told them i didnt mod it so im not really lieing to them, they just assume its never been modded because of the stock parts. if they ask, would i tell them i had aftermarket parts on it? hell no. but i dont think they would ask anyway.

Actually the Phantom ESC only produces 4 psi of boost at low rpm and tapers off to 1.5psi at 7000rpm. Even the latest experimental ESC only makes 4.5psi peak but only falls to 2psi at 7000rpm. It also requires a tune that will cost you another $500-$800 and may or may not be detectable by the dealer and/or manufacturer.

As for your warranty, don't be a scumbag. If you can't afford to void your warranty, then don't.

I'd recommend a shorter final drive ratio if you're staying NA. I'm loving my 4.88 with my auto.

so from what i have gathered by your posts is...

1. replace the agency headers with "real headers" (any brands you like?) ~$1000
2. light weight clutch / flywheel ~600
3. cf drive shaft ~900
4. lithium ion battery ~400
5. motor mounts ~150
6. tranny mount ~50
7. diff mount brace ~150
8. throttle controller ~300
9. big tb ~1800
~5,350 for like 10hp and minor weight reduction lol

yea the ac will stay in the car as well as the sound system carpet ect... not gonna change the gear ratio either. are we missing any other bolt-ons?
Borla, JDL, Nameless (whenever they finish it... give them a call), etc all make nice headers. Headers for the FA20 are like getting a better DP in a WRX or STI: biggest power gain mod to be had in the exhaust system.
