This is correct, now that he mentions it the outlet is on the opposite side from the US cars. It's for left hand drive cars only I think lol can anyone confirm I'm not crazy?

Aside form the steering column, I don't think that there area any real "under-car" differences between the LHD and RHD models.

Hmm they might be talking about the cat being European spec therefore not legal in the US. Not like that would bother too many people.

I spoke with the eBay seller and he said that the catalytic converter is Euro spec meaning that it meets the EU's stricter emissions standards.

For anyone else interested in the $300 header I just talked to the vendor selling them (speed element) he said there was a mix up and they got the wrong parts in but They should have the new shipment soon and once they verify fitment it will be back for sale. He also sent me a link to the teaser video for the sound and It sounds good, lots of boxer burble, sounds about like the borla.
