Would be apreciate to have this answer. I got a P&L headers I really hope it fit with the kit. If you did not tried, tell me what width is added with the supercharger pulley and i will meazure it.

By the way, it looks cleaner with black piping IMO.

Another thing I noticed is that the MAF sensor isn't on the grey tube but in the black tube in the press shots. I'll look for the oil reservoir, and the MAF tomorrow.

i cannot comment as to whether it will clear various headers...what i can tell is the dimensions of the over pulley. the drive pulley diameter is 100.5 mm and protrudes 36.5mm from the front face of the factory crank pulley.

Silver lining is once the car is FI the gains seen from headers are minimal, at least on Vortech setup, so just sell the P&L and be money ahead??? With the P&L setup you would have also had problems with the Rotrex Oil Cooler placement as originally laid out, not sure where it went to now. I'm not a big fan of a header design that takes a very hot component and brings it up into the engine bay closer to the intake.

i am not familiar with the header.... how close does it come to the crank pulley?....as long as it is not directly in front by a distance closer than 3.8cm, there should be no problem at all.

BTW...Just finalized the 91 octane tune with stock header and exhaust
on our in-house rototest dyno the base kit made 251whp

on a third-party dynojet nearby the kit made 272whp and 218wtq
(dyno graphs to follow shortly)

for the sheer amusement of speculating...we anticipate the following gains
header+exhaust = +20whp
small pulley upgrade = +15whp midrange; +25whp peak (max rpm 7300)
E85 = +25whp

Not because your not a fan mean that they are not good...

I will mesure tonight if i'm ok. If not, selling the header is an idea but my stock one has a o2 bung broken... Not sure i will buy a new stock one...

Maybe i will look into a UEL one now

I didn't say they weren't good. Lot's of people love their P&L's. I'm just opposed to the loop up into the engine bay. I've heard the JDL in person and that is one bad ass UEL FWIW.

That's only 3 HP shy of a 100 HP jump from your base pull on that dyno

Damn I'm excited to bolt this onto the car!

Why is the output so rough over 6k RPM? I noticed the smoothing was maxed on the dynojet run(s). Will this be smoothed out as you guys continue to develop the tune further?

How much boost is this at, and what RPM does the supercharger see? Is there overhead for more power? Is the increased redline safe?

The powerband is really meaty from 5500-redline... This should be fun at the track and canyons.

Looks really good. Could you overlay your base line run and boost plot?
