I would assume that swapping from the catted stock front pipe to a non-cat front pipe means that you would fail future emissions tests?
Or is the engine clean enough that you would still pass? |

im running stock exhaust with just front pipe(no cat) and theres def a difference. there is a little rasp and i passed emissions on my car without the cat. I believe this car has two cats and if you delete one theres no issues. the cat in the header i believe will cause issues because thats where the two o2 sensors are at.

Typically when you open up the exhaust on a otherwise stock car you'd expect the to gain in the top end and maybe even lose some at the low end and with partial throttle. The willingness of the car to pull forward with only slight throttle after installing the front pipe really caught me by surprise. I'm sure when you go WOT the difference may or may not be as noticeable, but the difference when just putting around is really that big IMO.
