As long as that valve is open and the supercharger is free spinning heat soak should not be an issue since it is not doing any work at that point.

how does it separate the belt shaft from the twin blades inside

Showing MRT how it's done!

Have you started on the new engine yet and any list of plans for it?

So the legal issues must not be due to the turbo then since you're keeping it? Interested to see your numbers, hope you have better luck after the changes.

Guys. The way this is setup both the supercharger and the turbocharger are running at 100% duty. It's why it's compounding the boost. The turbo charger feeds already compressed air into the supercharger and the supercharger compresses it further. It's multiplying the boost not just adding it. There is an formulae that I made but it's really long and will bore you all but I've worked it out that if the sc runs at 10psi max and the turbo feeds it 7psi then the manifold pressure will be 20psi.

It doesn't. When the bypass valve opens pressure equalizes on both the intake and outlet sides of the supercharger. There's still work being done to spin the screws but it's a lot less work than compressing the incoming air.
