My one wish is that it wouldn't flip to the outside air on its own, I usually never want it to do that but the auto setting will do it once in awhile. I always want it recirculating inside.

I love reading all the FRS owners post talking about how the Auto Climate control is so useless, blah blah.
I'm willing to bet half of you guys have never owned a call with that feature. Once you have a car with auto climate control you will never want to go back.

I find that it always turns on the recirculating mode for me every time I turn on Full Auto.

Same here - with a BRZ Premium. Auto is like telling your child to do something and they do their own thing using their own ignorant logic. With manual it is "do this and nothing else or you are dead meat'. (so to speak).

I don''t understand the thought process you guys went through "Oh, look, here's a thread that is clearly asking a specific question about how to use a feature that my car doesn't have, better go into it, read through it, then make troll posts about how I don't want that feature anyway and that only idiots use it" Like, do you think that you're contributing to the thread, or helping OP? Obviously not, unless you're completely delusional. So what was it, just jumping on an opportunity to be a troll? You could tell just from the title that it's a discussion about using the different functions in auto climate control, so it's not like you came in thinking that there was something intelligent that you could contribute to the thread, so the only explanation is that you read this thread with the sole intention of trolling, which is pretty pathetic.

That only works in Arizona! In most places the car interior fogs up if you use recirc for too long in anything but very hot weather. Eventually the water vapour builds up inside the car and starts condensing on the glass.

I started this thread asking brz lImited owners what the difference between full auto and auto. I didnt think this would attract owners without auto climate to start bashing. Just because ur other car has auto climate doesnt mean it works the same way as the brz. My Nissan has auto climate but its either auto mode or manual mode, whereas the brz has FULL auto, auto, and manual which made me question the 3 modes. I certainly like the look of my auto climate. Makes my car look like its made in 2012, rather than a 2003 corolla.

Just set to full auto, then cycle the recirc button from on-off-on. That will put it into manual mode for the recirc. It will stay like that until you hit full auto again.

Just trying to make people feel bad for spending a LITTLE bit more money on their car. There are plenty of people that are willing to pay a small fee for the finer things. I'm buying a limited brz for that exact reason. I came from a 2012 BMW and I like the little luxurious things like leather, auto climate and keyless start. How can people judge me for that? It's 2013 and I like modern technology. So what? And I completely agree. There is no reason for someone to be on threads like this who don't have the feature unless they are just looking to troll.
