As for the E80 map, did you check your fuel trims and afr where you were seeing large knock correction? E85 does not take a lot more timing in the midrange (3k - 4k)than pump gas.. I stopped seeing gains with just a couple degrees over my 93 map.. Up top is another story. Also, Unlike Gasoline E85 knocks on the rich side, not the lean side.

If you were still having fuel trim issues on pump, E85 is probably going to be worse due to increased flow rates.
According to the EcuTek logs my AFR was 13.78 when it first pulled timing. It continues moving slightly leaner, and pulling 5 deg. My AEM wideband certainly seems to show higher A/F ratios than the ecutek logs. I wish I had a better way of lining up these two data sources.

I always see a lean spike (14-17) when I'm about to hit boost, then it goes rich. I didn't go past 4k during my last log since it pulled more timing than usual.

This is still the basemap FWIW.

Fb basemap got my rough idle and all fixed
My AFR was 11.2 on Wot
I think his basemap is good but you might have a mechanical problem.

I had no knock at all but my short Fuel trims at idle and crusing were maxxed out.

So imo u might have a hardware issue and be careful with that lean AFR
You can melt your DI seals and even blow your engine

Go to ecutek.com and try to find a master tuner around you.

You do not have to find a master tuner, there are plenty of EcuTek tuners/dealers for the FRS/BRZ that are not master tuners that should be more the capable. Again these things are not hard to tune. Just kinda time consuming as there is a lot that needs to be done to make it right in my opinion.

Update: Been @ WORKS for a few hours for dyno tuning on E85. We took a baseline of FullBlown's tune with the stock MAP sensor, and Visconti's latest revision with the 3BAR MAP sensor.

Still using the 7psi wastegate spring, probably won't go past that today. Hopefully I'll be able to post a better dyno tonight, then come back for more boost.

No good news to report. Pete worked off the stock map - we'd flash the car, wait 5 minutes and do a couple pulls. The afrs would end up somewhere around where he put the fuel maps, high 11s. After a few minutes the car seemed to learn to lean it out to right about 14.7...

Flash again, goes back to lower values till it learns to lean it out again. He doesn't know what to do. Car is still there.

LJ has been awesome and seems willing to setup a time where we can flash his maps, dyno, iterate.

Sounds to me like the car is targeting 14.7 and no matter what he puts in the fuel tables it is still going to use short and long term fuel trims to try and hit that 14.7. Are you sure he knows what he is doing?

I don't think we tested this bit on LJs, I think he tested this in Viscontis. I honestly don't know what the results were of that. Ill get that info once I get a call back.

It's his first time tuning one from scratch I think. The other time was modifying an unlocked map. If the stars align right I might be able to get dyno time tomorrow to fine tune with LJ.

I'm still on the 7psi spring. Seems to hit just under 8.
