Dont forget a rear diffuser. That and JDM exhaust tips with Toyota emblem really make the back of the car look aggressive and custom

I'm taking a liking to the stock scion spoiler with the rear diffuser. You just need bigger tips to fill in all that space once the diffuser is on.

Great call on the frameless rear view mirror! That looks sweet. I saw those mentioned in other threads but they had dropped off my radar.

Next question is do you guys have specific vendors/websites you recommend? I noticed someone mentioned to try to support the vendors mentioned in these forums so I'd of course like to support those vendors if possible. I tried to look through some of the marketplace forums to try to figure out who the recommended vendors are but didn't have any luck.

Can I buy my own parts and have dealer/authorized shop install to preserve warranty?

Dealers

ft86speedfactory for the 5 axis spoiler
b2autodesigns was very good with the wheels
tirerack for the tires
diode dynamics for the lighting and accessories.
beatsonic for the antenna
Good experiences with all of them.

You also may want to look into a little bit of soundproofing. Since I'm going to assume that you're not really all that interested in autocross, a little bit of deadening will add some weight but make the ride much quieter.

I love my V1 radar detector. Its very sensitive and will notify you of radar wayyyy in advance. I was driving uphill the other day and it started going off, only after I got over the hill did I see that a speed camera had been setup.

Since no other retailer sells them they have high resell value as well. $399 new and $360ish used on ebay etc.

yeah lightweight looks like a stingray with the stock antenna. my friend always calls it that whenever he sees my car.

go with the lesser expensive upgrades. LED interior lighting, license plate lights , reverse lights, HID's, clear side markers, led turn signals

i consider myself in your boat. i'm not a hardcore tuner. i don't mind the stock performance of this car. i just like to add a few nice goodies to it.

so far i've got: springs, wheels, foglights, sharkfin antenna, trunk spoiler, and exhaust tips.
future mods include: tint and possibly a drop-in filter and body lip kit

Do you have the upgraded radio?

I'm learning towards installing a backup camera as my first mod. And maybe even a front camera too, since it can help with approaching a parking bumper or curb.

Nice wheels, what are they? Thought they were Enkei Fujin's but then saw the extra lug holes.

I did a catback exhaust to get the sound as well as the tips. Sound is amazing compared to stock. Its an easy to it yourself upgrade.

This^ I never understood why people do this. Either don't touch it or do it right.

They're Enkei RS-7, they came out in 2004-ish. So you could say they're out of style, but it's nice being different from the rest of the 86 guys rolling RPF1s or ROTAs.

Here's the ebay listing i bought it from, they're cheap.
