I get the same thing. Spin on the 1-2, chirp 2-3 but is anyone else having their stability light flash on the 3-4 shift?

It's likely due to the fact that when shifting hard, the ECU detects the motor for a brief moment is spinning higher than the speed of the wheels should be at that RPM+Gear. Not enough to overpower and cause wheel spin though. The TCS tries to be proactive and stop spin before it starts if you're in full-on mode.

This is why OP is asking about 0-58 mph for manual transmission.

The 235/50-17 will make it to 60 mph in a 1-2 shift. But the weight of the tires (unless the wheels are significantly light...like 14 pounds) will make the car slower. There aren't many (any?) wheels that fit that criteria.

235/45/17 or 225/45/18 would be the tallest decent choices. Use a 17x8 or 17x8.5 or a 18x7.5 for best handling performance with these tire sizes

That's great performance, congrats. On par with an S2k also nearly as good as edmund did with the stock innovate.

Gives hope that one day the right header, tune, and lighter wheels on 93 should get a 100 mph et.

I think bone stock under 6" 0-59 mph is still pretty quick, its that torque dip/lag in third gear on the way past 70mph that gives these cars the bad rep for being slow. But even stock they are dam quick under 60 mph (in 2nd gear) which is really all you need off the track.

I would wonder what my car would do on my autoX set-up. It's 17x9 RPF1s (16lbs) and 255/40/17 sized ZIIs or RS-3. Driveline is stock.

The extra height in these tires over stock might get me 60 MPH in one shift. Additionally because of all the grip the tires have I can launch the car on top of the torque dip in first gear and unless the surface is very dirty I have enough grip to get all or most of that power to the ground with little wheelspin. SO my car should launch WAY WAY better than a stock car or even a car on better than stock, but still average summer tires.

Yes quite faster, but with the longer gears in the auto I bet it if it had like 50 more hp from all the basic mods it would be quite sprightly.
