No blind faith here, just the acknowledgement of the fact that they have been at the forefront of these engines FI, have done the most test and tuning of them, do this for a living, and are not backyard tuning Bozo's.
Pretty sure they're talking about E85 on stock pump/injectors being used in the context of the Innovate Supercharger kit, so you're not going to see those crazy boost levels or power numbers.

i was simply making the point that how you utilize DI effects how big of injectors you need. Obviously if you disable DI entirely (as some do) you will need bigger port injectors to move the same mass of fuel. if you lean heavily on the DI you will need less.

That will be a long drive each day. I would rather you take off work and come with me to 86 Nationals. It will remind you what it was like to own an FR-S, haha.

If you haven't reached the limits on the stock fuel system above and beyond a change to the stock fuel pump in the tank, meaning,... having to go to a surge tank or a rising rate return system to make things safe, like I have,.. I know comparatively I'm making a lot more power than you regardless of horsepower claims, not because of the use of it, but because of the necessity of it.... I don't think this confusion over why some engines go boom and others don't is because of tuner issues,...I think its more of an issue of what guys are claiming for horsepower and the variances from one dyno to another and BHP versus WHP. Yes there are going to be a few bad tunes with resulting damage, but guys like Quirt Crawford, Visconti and Don at AP making rookie tuning mistakes?.....I just don't believe that. I'm believing once you reach 20psi boost,... stronger head studs,...which aren't available, and stronger more compliant aftermarket crank bearings,... which also aren't available, and a very serious look at forged rods and pistons is a must for the FA20...
The FRS being raced in the Pirelli Sports Car Challenge series has had rod bearing failures, now this is a fully built engine with I'm sure some factory Toyota support i.e. the TRD supercharger that no one can afford . Best case scenario they are running OEM bearings,...worse case is if they beefed them up and they still failed. This engine isn't as strong as some claim.
