I hear that, I have had an E46 M3, E92 M3, C6 Z06, and Cayman R. I look forward to the future Innovate intercooled developments, but I am definitely glad I am not still waiting for it to be released. Will you be upgrading as soon as the intercooler is released?

Yeah, I'm waiting for more details essentially. I'd like to explore a 70mm pulley which will add about 20whp according to Robi's dyno plots. However I want to make sure it's safe on 93 alone. For the track I'm exploring the intercooler + e85 or an Aquamist WMI kit (with 93). Either way I plan to run one of the two for heat management. My goal was 275-300 whp with this car. With this kit, I'm just hoping for a reliable 260-270whp. I think that will max it out for the most part. I love it now but it's still a tad bit short on power.

Hey man love the set up looks clean, have you thought about a Perrin CAI with this kit? It replaces the stock airbox, but also makes the airflow less restrictive. Just my 2 cents I guess.

We should have that pulley done by the end of august if all goes well. I think with a good header, 2.5" exhaust, and e85 or meth injection; this setup should hit 300whp on a cool day. These twin screws from Sprintex in the jeep/mini side have done quite well, so with the 70mm pulley and good cooling it should be solid.

I don't know what Innovate's plans are but i'm sure you could buy the intercooler core & heat exchanger direct from bullet in queensland. Kind of surprised no one did that yet it's been out for a while.

Yeah, I've thought of it, I plan to just wait until someone fabricates an innovate-specific option (lower cost too). A cone filter is going to flow 2x the air compared to a drop in.

Yeah, I'm hopping so. I need to figure out a WMI plan. I'm concerned about the AEM kit because the nozzles have those water dribbles/droplets at lift off. I've confirmed that AquaMist is developing a kit for the BRZ to work with modulation from both the DI and PI. I'm not sure if AEM's new check valves alleviate the droplet issue. Anxious to see the results you get from the pulley. I won't be far behind! The 93 tune is a little underwhelming after running around on E85 for a week I'm still on the factory over-pipe, I'm wondering if that could be choaking off some of the flow. I need to find one that clears my 25.4mm sway bar though.

Yeah, I thought about that but not sure if I'd rather just run water/meth. I guess I want to see more results to see it's effectiveness. It's obviously a simpler solution but I need more data.

AEM sent us a new nozzle a year or two back that I've been using for the MX5--0 issues. Had the intake off and the whole thing was so clean you could eat off of it.

Small Update:
I went by Sears today and picked up a cordless impact gun. I went with the 3/8" one because most of my sockets are that size and it's also quite lighter than the 1/2". It still has 130 ft-lb of torque power.

Also, I received a replacement donut gasket, I plan to install this evening. I'm not sure but there might have been a slight exhaust leak from the OEM one due to the modification I had to make to it to fit the front-pipe.

I'm waiting to receive:
Lightweight Hitch Receiver
Perrin Oil Cooler (in black)

I also might chance it with a Perrin over-pipe, just not 100% sure if it will play nice with my sway bar. I plan to grab some data logs tonight or tomorrow. On the 93 tune it seems to be a little choppy/rough at low RPMs under very light throttle.

Just a quick question on your setup, has your tune been done yet for all your mods, or are you just running a slightly tweaked innovate tune?

I was hoping for more out of this kit on 93, but if you truly are only getting 5 psi that may be part of the issue.... Either way, car looks great! Probably handles like a go cart as well!

It's a slightly tweaked tune but I've sent data-logs to Moto-East so it's been optimized. I still plan to get it dyno tuned soon though. I think it's just the stock MAP sensor can only read to 5.3psi. I might be adding water/meth injection soon and will be having that tuned.

My idea is:
Map 1 - 93 w/ Water-Meth
Map 2 - 93 Base/Safe Tune (No Water-Meth)
Map 3 - E50
Map 4 - E85

That way whether I'm running E85 or 93 w/ WMI, I should have about the same power output. I'm also waiting to see developments on the 70mm pulley and if it's safe to run on just 93 conservatively. I might do the 70mm pulley, cold-air intake, and WMI at the same time. This car although like a race car now, is still my daily driver and reliability is paramount but I'd like another 30-40whp.

Update

I've ordered and awaiting:
- Perrin Oil Cooler in black
- Poorboys Wheel Sealer - try to keep some of this dust off my wheels...I also acquired about $15 in brushes to get all the crud from my race pads off.

I'm close to ordering the AEM water/meth kit. I need to coordinate some time with Moto East to install and tune it.

I received my Perrin OverPipe:

All hardware included:

I thought this was pretty poor for the price point, you can see the piping isn't flush with the flange cc: @PERRIN_Chris

Compared to OEM pipe:

It clears my Hotchkis sway bar (25.4mm) but just barely:

Install notes:
Pain in the rear

I'd recommend removing the motor mount bolt and jacking the engine, it's super easy and will save you time. I did after 30 minutes of trying to snake the OEM pipe through. It just doesn't want to come out.

It started poring rain so I got soaked and dirty as heck. I at first had a small leak from the header end on the top side of the flange. I loosened the header bolts and got them tight first and then did the rear. It's a little better but still I have a slight leak. I might try to run it by @ptuning if they can squeeze me in. I'm not sure if one of the flanges are not up to par. I also burned the hell out of my shoulder on the header. There is a slight grade on my driveway so I was soaked and it was hard to move/dark as heck. The install took me about 2hrs which was much more than I was expecting. If I was lucky with no leak and did the motor mount procedure, I would have got it done in 45 mins.

Driving impressions, well there's a leak but it does feel a little smoother just from running it around the block. I need to get the leak addressed. I might try again tomorrow evening but have to pick someone up from the airport.

The gap on the overpipe actually looks pretty good. Our exhaust parts are all hand cut, mandrel bent pipes, so there always will be a small gap, but it won't hurt performance.

Sorry to hear about the leak, if you need any more gaskets, let me know!

Turns out I mashed the gasket on install because the two pipes wouldn't line up perfectly at first. I'm up and running now with no leaks. I probably just lost my patience last night in the rain. I used a ptuning gasket which was thicker to be safe.
