Ok, so some early driving and owning impressions.
Legacy cars: Honda CRX SI (B16A) Mazda RX7 Turbo (10th Anniversary) Honda Prelude SI 4WS Mazda RX7 Turbo Mazda RX7 (3rd Gen) Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V Mazda RX-8 Honda Prelude Porsche 911 (996 C4) Acura Integra GS-R Turbo (Track Duty) Acura TSX BMW M3 (e46) BRZ - If I could sum it up..."works with nature, not against it." The lightweight boxer layout just offers so many advantages to all aspects of performance. As my Porsche friends say; "There is no greater luxury than performance." I'm extremely impressed with the car and how well engineered it is. In it's stock form the chassis is incredible. I prefer a little more lateral grip, so I'll be eventually throwing some wider wheels/tires on. The gearing is awesome, very well done. I love the throw of the shifter, you can really bang out shifts in this car. The car has great responsiveness and a nice little punch of low-end momentum for being a pretty weak 200hp. I was afraid it would feel very week down low but not the case. I'm still breaking it in (only had a few days), so I'm looking forward to being able to go over 4K RPMS with it. The best car I could compare it to in it's stock form as far as handling characteristics is the Porsche Cayman S. I actually think if it had comparable tires, it would have a better handling feel. Coming out of a M3 with competition brakes, the braking isn't quite as forceful. My only knock is I want an armrest and I wish there were a storage unit or two in the cockpit. Otherwise, cheers, very happy with the purchase and love my BRZ! http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...09A257D725.jpg |
Yeah, I think my only adjustments would be a lowering the road noise a little bit, I love my BRZ.

Update:
So I received my Perrin Stubby Antenna (via XTR Performance) http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...4564BAEEE6.jpg Comparison vs Stock: http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...456AAB3622.jpg Installed: http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...4571CD0894.jpg Also received my stealth bulbs for the front and rear turn signals: http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...4579F240C3.jpg Comparison vs Stock: http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...4580326BC1.jpg It got dark out when I was installing them, they look great but couldn't get a good picture. Ordered JDM OEM Clear Side Markers (should be in tomorrow or Friday) Next Up: Armrest CS Style Front Lip and Side Skirts Eibach Multi Pro R2 Coilovers (or KW V3s) Injen Intake (need to wait until I get some more mileage on the car) |
Thats a nice driveway.. lol
