Wow, I live in a city where hail is common. Hailed about 5 times last summer and the hail in that picture is about average sized. I will be afraid to drive my car..... My celica had been hailed on many times with no issues. Sorry to see that

May want to purchase a padded car cover, seems to be the only way to protect your car when you can't have it in a garage.

Would have been great, but I don't have any windows in my office. By the time I heard the hail, it was too late.

DANG .... that's too bad! .....

Although I've found the FR-S's skin to be rather thin, I reckon hail of that size, would dent most cars built after 1960 ....

I hope you get it fixed up real soon.....

Get out your ball peen hammer and finish the job. You can increase your gas mileage with the "golf ball dimple/boundary layer" effect. Mythbusters covered this in one of their shows.

Or collect the insurance and spend it on coilovers. To improve the cosmetics stick one of those bullet hole stickers on each hail impact. Street cred and lower lap times for not much of your own cash.

Went to a car show last weekend and a hail trashed Audi Q7 showed up with this treatment. Looked pretty good actually.

Think rib sauce camo.....

lol that's not a bad idea if insurance refuses to cover it (although in OP's case it sounds like they will)

I thought the same thing....but I don't think I could handle the "wtf happened to your car?" questions I would get ever single freaking day.

Yeah, claim is already being processed. Turns out I will actually be getting it repaired at a Ford dealership, of all places (they are one of the few that has a bona fide body shop on-site).

Also purchased one of these yesterday...Should be arriving around the same time that I get the car back, hopefully

I was honestly waiting for that torrent of a water flow to start carrying the car away. That would have been epic!
