HAIL

why does every pic i upload go upside down?

ok just went to my parents where I am storing my FR-S to do some clean up of my work van before the begin the work week. I had popped the hood to look at deleting the sound tube and with some ACR copper plugs I turned up I figured I might as well plug the sound tube and lets see what all the fuss is about. so a little while after I fire up the old girl and go have a listen for the cabin noise difference. while this is happening the rain begins to ramp up to monsoon levels gutters overflow, driveway starts to form a lake at the lower end I let her idle as I wait. next thing the hail opens up and starts rapid fire on the new tin roof of the car port and I just hold tight and wait it out, 5 minutes later it stops. with just the rain I take off. I get to the nice open corners that I have been driving for ten years plus. turn tc/dsc off as its probably the last time ill find myself driving in the wet. corner one good corner two stop sign so not even a chirp. corner three, a nice open left turn with wide shoulder and no curb, fine nothing to report here tires are hooking up surprisingly nice.
Straight road... as I continue about 200 meters out of the corner I get out from the tree covered road(slight crest right as you exit the trees) and low and behold hail, hail has covered the road completely and is pounding the road ahead of me, pucker time.
I was at around 30 mph and I let off the accelerator boom car instantly makes an abrupt left handed yaw I immediately think I am going to smoke this fence and everything in between. maximum braking the thing keeps spinning and at this point I knew I had to go with it and to be honest I don't know what way I even turned the wheel but I managed to pull the hand brake and I prepare myself to brace for impact, and explain to my parents what the hell happened. I guess the e-brake helped drag the back wheels to a point where they re gained traction and I let off on the brakes and correct the wheel since the car is now back. any one else manage to save it after doing a complete 360 on a road with zero traction? I don't even know how to describe how I'm feeling right now

the daylight pic shows the skid marks intersecting

I always do traction control in the rain no matter how much power the car is pushing. Unless it's FWD or AWD lol. Then it's just fun.
