Can someone recommend me good tires that doesn't reduce the handling feel of the fr-s with this setup? Thanks!! (I'm a noob at this)
Not ideal. 25-30mm front poke...

35 - 40, much higher and you may rub the spring perch.

I was suggesting reading this thread (or even just a few pages back, or perhaps the post directly above yours..) as this has been asked numerous times. x9 is a popular size. No worries.

Take a look at these helpful posts a few pages back.

Be sure you understand how much poke a 9 +35 has at stock height and lowered with camber.

Very close to 9 +35 (~ 1mm)

See above post with links.

Front is approx an inch past the fender. Unless you are running a crap load of negative camber or going wide body it is not a good fit.

I am looking for a flush look but with stock ride height/suspension. What would b the most recommended tire and wheel specs that will not effect the speedometer much. (I would like 18" rims).

Sorry for such an open ended question... I'm just a big noob to this thing and want to start things off right :p I'm worried if I just go with whatever I'll end up rubbing at the fender or at the suspension

I was considering running a staggered offset and not so much wheel size. I believe that the rear wheels should poke more than the front esp on a RWD car(looks wise) I was thinking of running 18x9.5 +42 front and 18x9.5 +30 rear. Im not concerned with the rear so much as I am the front. since the offset is high in the front will I have issues with the inside of the wheel or tire coming in contact with the suspension or fender well? I was planning on running a 225/40 up front. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Rear fitment is fine.

Front fitment is difficult/ not ideal for several reasons.

- A 9.5" wheel is very wide up front.
- It will poke past the fender.
- It is too much wheel for a 225 IMO. The add'l weight is unnecessary.

I would suggest an 8 - 8.5" up front for easier fitment.

If you are insisting on a square width/ staggered offset, consider 9" wheel.

I hope this helps some.
