I haven't really read through any of the 11 pages of this discussion so I don't know if there's a debate going on or if everybody is hating on the stealthbox but I figured I'd drop in really quick as an owner of one of these. After replacing my front speakers, installing hushmat in the doors and rear deck, putting in a 5 channel JL amp, putting a sub controller mounted under the steering wheel column, and installing the stealthbox that this box sounds fucking fantastic. Pricey, but it sounds exactly what I would hope it would sound like, it looks like it was meant to be there, and It's a fantastic product overall. If anybody is in SoCal and wants to hear what it sounds feel free to message me.

I've been meaning to come but I wanted to finish my car first. It goes back to Evasive on Friday for the final touches so I should hopefully be there in two weeks rocking everything with dyno sheets (except the sponsored Grimmspeed). I'm surprised with all the amazing I've seen pictured there nobody has one. I figured my car would be lost in the mix.

Has anyone tried emailing/calling Boh as per Oc Ca's post above? I haven't had time to call the west coast but would be interested to know if anyone got anywhere procuring a box ~$500.

I called, it's good. Will probably be picking one up soon but he said he's out of stock and has to order them.

Called a local shop that carries JL. With a JL amp, JL stealthbox and install I would be looking at $1100 and change...

Way too much....

Picked up sub from Boh today. Seems like a good guy but it's my first time there. He has at least 1 FRS/BRZ Stealthbox and he said he was mailing one out to Georgia. Sounds like the leads came from this forum.

The Stealthbox is a decent buy depending on price. The other parts, depends what amp. Install of just the amp/box should be cheap if you have the head unit w/the preouts. My 10 series doesn't havem

My install will be a bit more complicated .. then again I have ribbons in my other car.

hoping for some feedback from any JL audio stealth box owners. is the bass boomy or nice and crisp? worth the money? I'm about to pull the trigger but was hoping for any input!!
