I use HP Plus Pads.

Tons of torque on them, significantly better bite, no fading even after 20+ laps of hard driving.

Good amount of noise, that's one downside, they do squeak here and there, and squeal sometimes if you hit the right amount of pressure on them.

Good amount of brake dust too, which you would expect from a performance pad.

Just put them on recently so not sure how long they'll last, but they're great pads if you don't mind the noise and the dust for a performance gain.

The Hawk Ceramic pads I think are the most quiet. Other than Hawk's Race pads (DTC's), and mine, they're all pretty quiet if you ask me. The HPS pads aren't bad, and the ceramics are pretty good if you want a really low dust pad.

Do you happen to have the part numbers for what you have?

Hawk HPS:
HB671F.628
HB711F.661

Performance Ceramic:
HB671Z.628
HB711Z.661

I run HP Plus pads on another vehicle, so I only see HP Plus for the fronts on the FRS:
HB711N.661

PM me for pricing, I've got really good costs on Hawk Pads.

Currently I have used on this car:
AP S100
AP C300
CL RC6E
Carbotech XP10 and XP8
Soon some JDM pads I'm going to test out that I got from CSG.

Of the ones I've used on this car so far, for track use, I love the CL pads.

On my car all of them make noise, and all dust. But the Carbotechs are very friendly. The S100 are dust friendly also. They work for the street. Then again for the street I'd just run OEM pads if I could.

what pads are you using?
Carbotech XP8 (fronts only, OEM on rears)

How is it compared to OE?
Perhaps more bite than stock but hard for me to tell, nothing drastic. Very good resistance to fade, did a full track day in 90+ temps and felt no fade at all.

How much noise? Quiet like OE? Some squealing? None at all?
Very noisy after first track day. Lots of squealing and then warbling scrubbing sounds as you approach a complete stop. So noisy I switched back to OEM for street driving. But after my 2nd track day I left them in and they had gotten much quieter. They got noisy again with street driving and a road trip to Vegas. But after the 3rd track day (a hot July track day) they seem to be quiet again. I am leaving them in, I can live with the sound.

How much brake dust?
Hard to say as my wheels are plastidipped black to hide the dust. But I'd guess there is a good amount of dust from them.

How long are they "supposed" to last and how are they in terms of wear on your rotors?
Don't know but wear is good so far. At my last service Subaru looked at my brakes and said everything was functioning normally, no excessive wear.

I will probably consider getting the XP8s for the rear at some point as well if I continue to take it to the track. Thanks CSG Mike for the tips and help so far!

What pads are you using? - TRD "Blue" pads front and rear

How is it compared to OE? - More feel and initial bite than OE, fade resistance is certainly better.

How much noise? - None, but bedded in properly, note these would be classified as "fast road" pads rather than track, I have CLs for the track.

How much brake dust? - Not much more than stock, but I have black wheels so hard to tell

How long are they "supposed" to last and how are they in terms of wear on your rotors? - No visible wear on any of the rotors yet and they've been on the car for over 4 months now with daily and hard driving.

These are my daily's and they do hold up far better to the stock pads with spirited driving. These don't fail with spirited driving unlike the stock pads at least not so far. Also no noise from them

It's a pity they no longer will sell them. They are very good and reasonably priced. I hope you get the 20+ you need.

It might be the colour of my wheels helps hide it, I have a really hard time telling when they're clean other than the dust makes them less gold in the sun and they're more matte.

Shiney and new, day after mounting them still with OEM pads:

Ahhh, I have a MUCH lighter color gold that easily shows dust.
