the perfect offset..
i was just wondering what offset is the best withouth starting to rub...thinking about going 18x9.5 +40 but not sure if it will rub...

I have 18x9 +35 with a -2.2 camber, and it is perfect. More camber means more "sink in" by the fender. If you are going without camber, you can get away with less aggressive offsets.
If you are going FI, or more power, you can go for 9.5 in the rears for wider tires, but if you are going just for looks, go 9 with a good spacer.
