I did order through group buy although that hasn't been updated in a few days - looks like there should be nearly enough. I got a reply back to my query on the VG site directly and with my impatience level I think I'd just as soon have ordered direct tho.

Also ordered the parts listed earlier in the thread for the tuner and the fit kit, but I think I'll chicken out and have it installed professionally. Really getting tired of the crappy random feature using my own playlists through bluetooth in the couple of weeks I've had the car.

Thanks for the tips and all everyone! One perhaps stupid question - has anyone tried it for XM canada or know if it even works at all? I think our Bespoke radio may be different, although I have the base unit.

This was a great (if expensive ;-) ) thread. Got the XM in, just waiting for the fin to come in to cover it all up again. Many thanks to Chaetagnath although I just ended up passing along the tips/pics to my installer. The tuner ended up being installed behind the glovebox in some empty space there, farther away from the wet and salt of the underseat install.

Chaetagnath -thank you so much for your post and pics of your VG sharkfin. I just received a sharkfin from Beatsonic and it will be too short to cover both the regular antenna and the XM one for sure... I will have to return the Beatsonic and get the VG. I am new to this site and just learning how this works. When we order we get a group price but cannot return it for any reason is this true? another question, is it ok to get my XM installed by a third party not at the toyota dealer ? I did order my tuner and fit kit already and it is a toyota part so I was thinking that should be fine( wont void my warrentee on my FRS??)

You don't have to return the Beatsonic antenna. A small sat radio antenna does fit under it, you just have to mount it up in the SF antenna. I used a hot glue gun to secure my sat antenna and the stock antenna base helps hold it in place.

You would need to contact the group buy point person to answer that, but I would try to make it work with the beat sonic first per kmbkk's suggestion. As for the warranty, you would need to ask Toyota to be sure, but given that it comes sat ready, it shouldn't matter who installs it to keep your warranty intact, and if it did void something in the warranty it would only be related to the stereo system. This install really doesn't change anything on the car, you are just running wires to the stereo. In fact the only tricky part really is making sure the shark fin is on straight.

Has anyone tried this with the Base Display Audio radio? I picked up a Sirius receiver (P/N: PT545-00080) and a fit kit (P/N: PT546-21110) and the radio didn't show satellite as one of the audio sources. I also tried an XM Radio receiver (P?N: 86180-0W031) from an '08 Camry but same thing with that as well.

I'm sure hoping that there is some secret menu that needs to be accessed to enable sat radio with this as it would be sad if the previous base radios did and this new one does not.

Thanks in advance.

I have the base deck, with the XM kit. Mine works flawlessly. I didn't have to do anything special to make it work. Just had to activate the mx receiver with SiriusXM

did you use the XM kit stated above to get it working with the display audio? I've been trying to figure out if I could pull the XM kit from my FJ and stick it into my FR-S's unit, but I think i'll just get a kit instead.

Do you have the display audio (touchscreen) or the base radio that has a sat radio button?

Sorry for the late response. I bought the following:

XM Receiver: 86180-0W032
Fit Kit: PT546-21110

Looks like the part number of my receiver is different than the one @accelerated tried.
