You can usually make a bad wheel bearing make noise by driving down the center of a road at around 30 mph and turn the wheel back and forth so the car moves from one side of the road to the other. Had the same exact issue on my Lexus IS300. Popped the hood open and it turns out that it was a bad serpentine belt. Do you notice the noise more when the A/C is on? If so it's definitely the serpentine belt or a loose tensioner.
