Invidia N1 Catback Install w/ OEM Donut Gasket

Is the pipe of the N1 catback, that connects to the OEM midpipe, supposed to go over the donut gasket completely? When I was doing the install yesterday, it seemed like the opening on the N1 was too small and when I tried mate it to the OEM midpipe w/ the OEM donut gasket there was a noticeable gap (even after I tightened all the bolts).

If the exhaust doesn't leak out, I wouldn't worry about it ....

Ditto, mine looks almost exactly like that, but a little wider on the gap, you can actually see the angled portion of the gasket. 3 mechanics all looked at it before I took it off the lift and they all said that is how it should look. I believe that picture you posted is from a WRX?

Not 100% sure. Highly likely that it is since I pulled the pic from nasioc.com
