Caliper Clearance vs Heat Dissipation

I just bought a used set of 17x8 RPF1's to use as a second track option. Hoping that lighter (34#s) and slightly narrower is quicker. My concern with test fitting is the tight clearance between the caliper and the wheel barrel possibly creating additional heat. These 3 pictures are my 18" street wheels vs the 17" Rotas and 17" RPF1s.

Won't be an issue. Just be aware of the location of the stick on weights so they don't get scraped off due to clearance and put heat-reflective tape (aluminum) tape over the weights. Otherwise the heat can reduce their sticky and they come off so the reflective tape keeps that from happening.
