I use this detailer after washing when I don't wax my car.
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UPZXQM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_ detailpage"]Amazon.com: Chemical Guys WAC80816 Hybrid V7 Optical Select High Gloss Spray Sealant and Quick Detailer - 16 oz.: Automotive[/ame]

it smells really good lol.

I also use this to clean my windows. it works well, and you only need 1 full spray for a window (2 for the front/rear windshields). if you spray too much though, it will leave some residue.

I almost exclusively use CG products

Citrus Wash and Gloss
Wash and Wax
All Clean
Diablo Wheel Gel
Heavy Metal Polish
P40 quick detailer
Liquid Carnuaba Wax
Jasmine Air Freshener
VSS Scratch and Swirl remover
V4 all-in-one-polish
Silk Shine
V07
Clay bar and Luber

and probably a bunch more I am missing.

If I have to pick a favorite I would go with the Citrus Wash and Gloss since I probably use that the most. Smells great and more importantly it leaves the car looking immaculate. Let me know if you have any questions about anything that I use.

Can't compare since I don't use Chemical Guys only Adam's, but their car shampoo is a favorite of mine. Here's my little arsenal.

A good place to go for detailed opinions of why someone chose specific products for detailing their cars and how, check out www.obsessedgarage.com

He has a 911 GT3 and M3. Safe to say he knows what he's doing.

Cheers!

Thanks! and yeah I've been wanting to get a kit either Chemical or Adam's but haven't decided, nice inventory btw!

Do you have the foam gun? I'm thinking about buying it but 100$ is a lot for just a foam gun

Hope it's helpful! And thanks!

I don't have the foam gun sadly. Being at my college dorm, I don't have all the space or resources to store everything that I want. Lol. But my understanding is that the foam gun just makes it easier to produce a nice coat of foam over your car that makes your paint less susceptible to swirls. That being said, you should find a shampoo that produces a lot of foam so that if you don't have a foam gun, you can still get a lot of suds on your wash mitt/pad and not scratch your paint. So even if no foam gun, luxury in my opinion, you can still get the job done. Add soap onto your wash mitt/pad and into your soap bucket and you should be able to cover your car in a lot of suds.

Are you looking at a foam gun or foam cannon? Foam gun attaches to a hose, foam cannon to a pressure washer.

It looks really good, I mean I could afford but I could use the money for something else..plus there's this on Amazon..

I have a Gilmour like your Amazon link and it works pretty good but I don't have a whole lot of water pressure. I think it would work better with more pressure. It's nothing like a cannon though. I watched videos of cannons and they really put out some foam.
I hardly ever use mine because it's like wetting the car with some light foam, I do use it if my car is really dirty to loosen and wash of the heavy stuff before I ever come close to it with my wash mitt.
Unless you have a lot of pressure at your house I would probably save my money and if you really want some foam save up for a pressure washer and a cannon.

I switched over to chemical guys products exclusively now after using other brands for years (meguiars, mothers etc) -
citrus wash & gloss
ecosmart waterless waterless wash/wax
M-seal sealant
V7 sealant/quick detailer spray (love this)

plus their towels, mitts etc. they work well for me.
