Tire Sizing Questions (Total noob looking for winter tires)
I'm looking at picking up some Blizzak WS80 tires for this winter and to be honest, I just don't know what the hell to go with.
I'd like to have a little more sidewall than the stock tires do, but I also don't want to have issues with rubbing the wheel-well or anything. Would something like a 215/55/17 fit correctly without rubbing, or should I go down to a 16 inch wheel for winter and get something like 215/55/16 or a 215/60/16? I really just don't know what sizes are appropriate for our cars. |

TireRack usually offers a bunch of models in 205/55-16, which would be the correct size for use with a 16 inch wheel.
