FI ride along

Was looking to tag along with someone who is turbo'd. Was thinking of getting rid of the FR-S for a Focus RS when it comes out, but I don't know how the FR-S feels turbo.

Whats your goals in life? LOL the fr-s is a track car which doesn't need much hp vs the RS which is a rally car.

I believe the Focus RS is going to end up somewhere around 40k, near the STI price range. if you like your FRS currently and only wish for more power, the more economical solution would just to go FI. however, if you do not like your FRS or have many problems with it, then it might make more sense to go for the RS. of course though, test drive it before committing!

Yeah was thinking about that but I'm not into the new Subarus. Would only really want the hatch. I'm getting good discount on the RS, at about 31-33 otd. I love the way the FR-S drives but would just be able to be a little quicker without having to downshift two gears.

Holy shhhhh OP that's a good deal on a Focus RS. I thought they would be starting at 35k+(base RS if there is one).

Yeah, he's getting a car for like $28k before tax and other fees. The FoRS is a $40k stickered car. Not sure how he's getting it that low.

If it's really true, just sell your FRS and get that FoRS. That's not just a great deal. You are pretty much stealing the car. LOL Why F/I your FRS when you can get a FoRS for that price?

Haha a senior VP for North America Ford is family. The looks of the FR-S are great compared to the RS, and the driving is great too. Maybe running FI will be all I need to be completely content with FR-S. Just want to be sure before I switch, you know?
