No start every morning for past 3 weeks

My car refuses to unlock the steering column and will not start.

This has gone on for 3 weeks takes 10-15min per day to get it to unlock. Even if the wheel is not cut to hard, still does it. I tried jiggling the steering wheel off the locks I open and shut the door and forceably hold steering wheel to one side or the other, I I bang the steering wheel from side to side as hard as possible. Still nothing then it will randomly unlocks sometimes when I do nothing at all. Sometimes when I open the door and shut it(simulating getting Into the car) sometimes when shaking the wheel hard it will finally unlock.

Anybody have any ideas? it's extra frustrating every morning, I narrowed it down to only happening when the car sits not started for a long period of time

I.E overnight or all day at work, if I go out in the middle of my work day and start it, it's starts find at the end of the dsy, but who wants to do that.

Call the dealer. Take it there. They should give you a loaner. It could lock up while you're driving.
