Display Temp Gauge and MPG

Hey,

I had a question I was hoping someone could help with. Please excuse me if this has been answered elsewhere but a search didn't point me in the right direction.

My previous car, Mazda 3, had a display that showed the outside temp, mpg, and other helpful information on a separate display. With the FRS, obviously I have to scroll through that information and can only display one item at a time. Has anyone come up with a solution to display all of this information in one place. I was thinking a bluetooth Obd2 dongle but I'm not sure how to display it (besides phone, which I'd rather not do). I was thinking of putting this display device in front of the analog speedo on the dash. Has anyone done anything similar to this? If so, what do you recommend? Thanks.

You could install android based head-unit and install "Torque" to see all data. Clean solution, but expensive one

You can

You just need a Wi-Fi OBDII reader (not bluetooth as those only work with Android)

Bah, I forgot about that. I'm so used to Android now...

I was looking at the spot in front of the analog speedo and there is very little room so I couldn't mount it there. I guess the most obvious place would be the window to the left of the vent like some have used to mount the OFT.

That's where I mount mine using the vent mount on the apple website

An alternative mount that's more versatile but requires a small disc adhered to your iphone is this:

https://www.niteize.com/product/Stee...-Mount-Kit.asp

This way you can mount it pretty much wherever you want, in any orientation you want. I've used it and it's amazing
