Display Temp Gauge and MPG
Hey,
I had a question I was hoping someone could help with. Please excuse me if this has been answered elsewhere but a search didn't point me in the right direction. My previous car, Mazda 3, had a display that showed the outside temp, mpg, and other helpful information on a separate display. With the FRS, obviously I have to scroll through that information and can only display one item at a time. Has anyone come up with a solution to display all of this information in one place. I was thinking a bluetooth Obd2 dongle but I'm not sure how to display it (besides phone, which I'd rather not do). I was thinking of putting this display device in front of the analog speedo on the dash. Has anyone done anything similar to this? If so, what do you recommend? Thanks. |

You could install android based head-unit and install "Torque" to see all data. Clean solution, but expensive one

You just need a Wi-Fi OBDII reader (not bluetooth as those only work with Android)

I was looking at the spot in front of the analog speedo and there is very little room so I couldn't mount it there. I guess the most obvious place would be the window to the left of the vent like some have used to mount the OFT. |

An alternative mount that's more versatile but requires a small disc adhered to your iphone is this: https://www.niteize.com/product/Stee...-Mount-Kit.asp This way you can mount it pretty much wherever you want, in any orientation you want. I've used it and it's amazing
