speakers upgrade for FRS

HI, all

I'm looking better sound while retain my stock pioneer touchscreen HU, as what I gathered in this section, stock HU will feed dash and rear speakers about 15w RMS at 4 ohm impedance.

For dash speakers, I think JBL GX302 which rated 2.3 ohm impedance and 25w RMS for power handling, since lower impedance will draw more power from HU, how do you guys think this speaker will work?

Then for rear speakers, I pick kicker DS 3.5 coax on my list, this speaker is rated 4 ohm and 20w RMS, I guess this should improved the feel of lack punch/bass in rear from stock setup.

What do you guys think about this upgrade, or I should go better small amp by using stock amp wiring route?

Thanks for viewing and please kindly advise me

My goal for now is just built a better system for pop and electro music , most source of my music come from HD radio or 192/256k mp3.

For buget, I'm looking something about 500 or less for this small upgrade, because stock setup is very distorted when played in a decent volume, the whole sound image is off to me.

I do not want to add a sub in back for now!

Thank you1

If you want bass, a 3.5" speaker is not the place to look for it.

You can just ignore the rear speakers at this stage, if you leave them alone they'll still run off the head unit and provide a little bit of rear fill, if you want it. Or, you can delete them and focus on the front, where the important sound is coming from anyway.

You could spend your $500 on a good set of component speakers, the most important of which being the 6.5" woofer in the door, and a small amp to drive them.

With a little bit of sound deadening in your doors, a good set of speakers, and a decent amp to power them, and you will get a significant bump in sound quality.

I measured both at 4 ohms, actually.

Not that it really matters, but just FYI.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm now looking to get a kicker dx125.2 amp from amazon, cuz it's 60w x2 and 2 ohm, also rated at 15A fuse too. Seems the amp replacement route might be better way for my goal.
