Hey guys I'm officially an owner of a 2015 Frs!

After lurking here for the past couple months, I've finally made my decision to purchase one. My dad first drove one when a customer brought it in to be fixed. He has been convinced ever since and kept persuading me to get one.

It honestly is an amazing car!

Just wanted to make a post and will be more a part of this community

Thanks!!

Welcome!

I suggest you read the manual ...... the WHOLE thing .....

Beware of the parking stops ..... they are higher and closer than you think ....

My color is Asphalt!

I've read half of the manual so far, I plan on reading the rest later today

Thanks for the heads up about the parking stops! I wouldn't like to have experienced that firsthand hahah.

These two lines sum up about 98% of what you need to know in the first weeks of ownership!

'Beware of the parking stops ..... they are higher and closer than you think'

I second that.

It's unfortunate, but very easy to drive up to a concrete parking stop, rebar sticking straight up from it...which you don't notice. You unintentionally ease over that stop with front bumper. When you attempt to back up, underside of plastic bumper can catch on the rebar...and rip/slice open the plastic bumper skin.

With this car, no way from driver's seat to tell just where the front of the car is. Not much help in the rear either. And blind spots galore, when attempting to look to the sides/rear.

This car begs for a camera front of car. A camera rear of car would be my second choice.

But don't let any of this stop you from having fun. I just went '4 wheelin' in my 15 FRS yesterday, heavily potholed, rutted dirt roads in the hills. What a hoot it is !
