Joining the Club - Tornado GTS

Long time lurker, and some casual posts,

But I finally received my new Tornado Grey Manual GTS 86!

Waited a long long time, but she's finally here!

Just a quick photo to say hello!

Since yours is a brand newie I'm just wondering if the spoiler fitted to the new models as standard is 'Deletable' when ordering? What is the wait time on these now? I believe sales numbers in Oz have dropped dramatically. Really is time for a dramatic update to style and performance. I'd update mine in a heartbeat if it was for something that had more than a shark fin antenna and a spoiler as an improvement.

Thanks ZZT86!

Hey Bodalenko,

I wasn't given any options for removing the Rear wing, I wasn't given any options to change anything at all actually, I got the GTS model and they just told me all the things it comes with, so didn't really ask!

I believe the 2015 ones also had upgrade in handling and shocks, To improve the drive a little more, They refined it or something!

Yes I remember my first sideways experience with the Michelins and accelerating into a right hand turn on a mildly damp road. My wife remembers it probably better! She still wants to know which Tyres I have on it before she'll get in.

I put them back on my car when I have it serviced but go back to the 225/40/18 Kumhos as soon as I get home.

I'd have said that using tyres off a Prius was a cost cutting measure until I saw the replacement cost of them.

They're fun in the dry but it becomes a different kettle of fish when wet & I reckon worse again as they wear down & the compound gets older & therefore harder :/
