demonstration of trailing throttle oversteer

I shot this video with my Dino, but the FR-S feels very similar on the same onramps-- lift off and the tail steps out slightly, apply power and the nose drifts out a bit.


With the FR-S you can feel this happening even without putting the VSC into Sport mode, although it might be a bit more prominent with it in Sport.

...used to do the same thing with my '91 MR2 turbo. I'd enter tlhis down-hill, decreasing radius on ramp, that fed into a long merge lane, just like your video. I'd go in pretty hot, and if I lifted midway down the ramp, the rear end would definitely start to step out.

I was usually triple digits by the time a actually merged in traffic. (I-95)
